A perfect way to get accustomed to the beautiful Inishowen coastline from the shores of Lough Foyle, to the caves and coves of Lough Swilly and breathtaking Malin Head and the jewel in Inishowen's crown Inishtrahull Island (the most northerly point of Ireland).
You will be guided by Adrian Harkin who has over 20 years experience coaching, paddling and exploring the Inishowen Coastline.

When we head out West we make the best of the weather, tides and what this beautiful coastline has to offer us in order to give a varied and unforgettable weekend of seakayaking. Previous trips have been to Inishmurray, Sliabh League, Aranmore, Gola, Cruit Island, Tory, InishDooey.

Dunree Fort Kayaking Trip
Discover Fort Dunree from a different perspective! A trip that takes in the sights of this important historical fort from the sea, exploring the caves, archways, wildlife and coastal heritage of the adjoining coastline .
Finish up with lunch on a beautiful secluded beach and there will even be a chance for a proper coffee in the Coffee Cup at Fort Dunree afterwards and time to visit the Fort and surrounding outbuildings.

Inishkea Island Trip

The Inishkea Islands (Goose Islands) are situated off the coast of the Mullet peninsula in Ireland. There are two main islands - Inishkea North and Inishkea South.
Fine white sand is found everywhere, often blown into drifts by the strong winds especially along the beach beside the harbor where it fills the houses of the abandoned village.

Journey by canoe along the Foyle River taking in the sights, sounds and stories of the river before disembarking for a slow food cooking experience.
Let the tidal river take you on a journey; take to the river by canoe, learn about the local area through our river guides who will recount stories and teach you about the local heritage and wildlife. Disembark for a truly unique pop up slow food experience where you will learn how to prepare and cook with fresh local ingredients.. You will feast on locally sourced Foyle fish and shellfish, vegetables sourced from the Moville Community Garden and homemade breads.

Escape and experience a two-day canoe & wild camping trip along the River Foyle.
Allow the tidal River Foyle to take you on a spectacular two-day journey and spend your evening wild camping, cooking and enjoying some locally sourced Slow Food and brewed beer by the fire.
Learn about the local area through our river guides who will recount stories and teach you about the local heritage and wildlife. Disembark at the historic Gribben Quay for a pop up wild food experience with local chef Darren Smith where you will learn how to prepare and cook with locally sourced ingredients.
Set up camp and your guide will deliver a camp craft session including fire, shelter and wild cooking skills and the principles of Leave No Trace.Take time to relax around the fire together, reconnect with nature and enjoy some well-deserved local beer and slow food snacks from Walled City Brewery. You will sleep under the stars and the next morning you will enjoy a simple campfire breakfast before continuing your journey through the city of Derry beneath the three bridges, stopping at Clipper Quay for a hot drink before continuing through the historic dockland to where the river meets the sea lough at Culmore Point.

Inishmurray Island Trip
15th - 16th June 2019
Inishmurray Island, off the County Sligo coast, is an island steeped in history. An early Christian site and now a wildlife sanctuary with significant populations of arctic tern and common tern, shag, herring gull, great blackbacked gull and eider duck make the island their home as do numerous pairs of black guillemot, barnacle geese, storm petrels, common gull, lesser black backed gull and fulmar.
The last of the islanders moved to the mainland in 1957 and today Inishmurray is a wildlife sanctuary of national importance for both breeding and wintering birds.
The well preserved remains of the monastic settlement and the island's village can also be seen, including mysterious cursing stones, altars and beehive cells. A weekend of unforgettable guided seakayaking, wildlife and exploring the heritage and landscape of this magical place.
