LIFEGUARD

Contract: Seasonal

Hours of Work: Various – up to 40-hours per week, including evening and weekends – flexibility required during the busy high peak trading times and key events.

Job Summary:

Inish Adventures are looking for responsible and experienced lifeguards for the Inish Adventure Water Park for the 2021 season. Successful candidates will supervise the operations and safety of the public ensuring their enjoyment on the waterpark, minimising the risk of any health and safety issues and respond to emergencies and administer first aid.  They will assist the Centre Manager and Activity Coordinator in preparing activities on the waterpark in a professional manner, ensure a high quality of service is provided to all clients. Successful applicants will also be required to always maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of their working area.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Prior Experience in a Lifeguard Role
  • Current Lifeguard Beach Lifeguard Qualification
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with the public
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.

SEA KAYAKING GUIDE

Contract: Seasonal

Successful candidates will supervise the operations and safety of the public ensuring their enjoyment on all sea kayaking trips, minimising the risk of any health and safety issues and respond to emergencies and administer first aid.  They will assist the Centre Manager and Activity Coordinator in preparing activities sessions in a professional manner, ensure a high quality of service is provided to all clients. Successful applicants will also be required to always maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of their working area.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Prior Experience in a Sea Kayaking Guide or Kayaking Coaching Role 
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with the public 
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions 
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures 
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Clean Drivers License is desirable.
