Calling all novice and experienced paddlers,
Inishowen Sea Symposium is back 26th - 28th April 2019
Moville Shore, Inishowen, Co. Donegal.
The Idea:
Inishowen Sea Symposium event is a weekend feasible for everyone from beginner to advanced paddlers. It consists of sea kayaking around the coastline of Inishowen, evening talks and demonstrations.
Inish Adventures feel that the amazing coastline of Inishowen needs to be shared and enjoyed by all paddlers. The plan is to kayak and enjoy the coastline from Lough Foyle to Malin Head to Inistrahull, the most northerly island in Ireland with some of the top coaches from Ireland and the UK.

The idea is you know your level and be honest with yourself and our guides will tailor to your needs.
It will be 6 paddlers to each guide.
As it is limited spaces we do require you to book suitable trips to your ability to ensure all groups are at the same ability

15.00 - Sea Symposium will finish with a leaving gathering featuring a 'taste of the foyle'. You will experience the flavours of the Foyle with some freshly cooked fish from our earlier trip!

Adrian Harkin
Adrian is the organiser of the Inishowen Sea Symposium. He is a five star whitewater kayaker and well as a seasoned sea kayaker with many years experience coaching and paddling all over Europe.

Ali Donald
Ali has paddled in 25 countries worldwide in expeditions and competitions. But whether he is on Himalayan whitewater or a dugout in the Orinocco, there's nowhere like Ireland.

Martin Duffy
Martin "Mad Dog" Duffy who is originally from Dublin moved to Leitrim to be closer to the outdoor life. He has been coaching kayaking for 15 years as well as paddling all over the world. He has worked on and led trips for Canoeing Ireland in both Ireland and abroad.

Shooter
Elaine Alexander Shooter is a highly experienced sea kayaker who has seen many parts of the world kayaking and completed a circumnavigation of Ireland by seakayak in 2011. Shooter has been paddling and working in the outdoors for the last 20 years. Seakayaking allows her to explore the best coastline offered.

Shaun Rodgers
The South African Irish Greek "SOUL PADDLER". He loves guiding, experiential coaching and learning. This is obvious when you see first hand his enthusiasm for the sport and Sea Kayaking Cornwall.

Mike McClure
BCU Level 5 Coach Sea, Mike works as an instructor on outdoor courses at the Tollymore Mountain Centre. He has been involved in canoesport for many years and has played a key role in the development of canoeing both locally and nationally particularly in young people.

Ronan O'Connor
Ronan owns and runs Ardmore Adventures Co Waterford. He is an experienced sea kayak instructor who coaches at various levels. When not in Ireland he can also be found leading trips along the Croatian coastline.

Jeff Allen
Jeff is a world renowned expedition Sea Kayaker, and has chalked up circumnavigations of Japan, South Georgia and Ireland as well as completing expeditions in Norway, Sweden, Alaska and Scotland. Jeff has given presentations and run courses all over the world including:- Iceland, Israel, Maine, Georgia, Michigan, San Francisco, Finland, Norway. He specializes in Incident management and rough water rescues. In 2003 Jeff founded ‘Sea Kayaking Cornwall.

Shane McElligott
Shane has been involved in adventure sports as an instructor since 1996. He works in various aspects of the professional outdoor community from running his own business in Roundstone, Connemara to facilitating a full time 2 year outdoor instructor training programme in Kinsale College. Water is his passion, whether it's playing in the Atlantic swells in a sea kayak, sailing a catamaran over the sea in Connemara or running a local creek in a white-water kayak. Shane is a qualified guide, instructor and instructor trainer with ISKGA, Canoeing Ireland, Irish Sailing and Sport Ireland Coaching.

David Horkan
David Horkan is an Irish kayak instructor and guide, a passionate paddler of many craft he has competed in multiple disciplines including Surf kayaking, Ocean Ski racing, Marathon, White water and Performance sea kayaking. David is an ISKGA coastal guide and Canoeing Ireland kayak instructor in Surf,Whitewater and Sea. He has kayaked all over the world in recent years – competing in endurance events like the Devizes to Westminster, the Hawksbury Classic in Australia, guiding in Patagonia, circumnavigating Vancouver Island and most recently training and competing in the U.S
David is based in Co. Mayo where he owns and operates an outdoor adventure company called Paddle and Pedal.

Robin Ruddock
BCU Level 5 Sea Coach sea kayaking for over 30 years and as a founder member of the Causeway Coast Kayak Association. He has introduced many hundreds of paddlers to seakayaking and trained numerous coaches to all levels. He has a particular love of exploring islands by kayak and has led many expeditions.
